John de Graaf (1946-) is a documentary filmmaker responsible for the initial 1996 PBS film Affluenza. He has also co-authored a number of books, including What’s the Economy for, Anyway? Why It’s Time to Stop Chasing Growth and Start Pursuing Happiness (2012). 

David Wann

David Wann (1938-) is the author of The New Normal: An Agenda for Responsible Living (2011) and a documentary filmmaker. He is involved with numerous sustainability initiatives and has lived for two decades in the cooperative co-housing project Harmony Village in Golden, Colorado.

Thomas H. Naylor

Thomas H. Naylor (1936-2012) was Professor Emeritus of Economics at Duke University. In addition to authoring dozens of books and articles on economics, politics, and corporate planning over the course of his career, he was a key figure in the Second Vermont Republic movement, which argued for the succession of the state from the rest of the USA.
